Did You Know...

Surprised Ideally, cow's milk is for calves and human milk is for babies!

"Ecological and time-series studies consistently showed a relationship between type I diabetes and either cow's milk exposure or diminished breat-feeding." (Diabetes Care 1994;17(I):13-19)

March 2010

The March 2010 lab and bone survey were good. My M-Spike is back down to 3.2 (from 3.4). My bones are healthy. All my scores are exceptionally good. My oncologist and his colleague were very pleased and even excited over the test results. They mentioned that they are sharing my case with other patients.

The past 6 months have been stressful because I had 4 months of cluster headaches. They affected my heart and I had to go through tests to find the cause of this heart rhythm change. Two weeks after the headaches left and my heart was back to normal.  I have not been regular on my juicing and actually had some meat on occasion (small amounts of fish). My wife and I are distress consultants and have had several people coming to us unexpectedly and all this on top of cluster headaches.

The point being, I thought my scores would reflect these health issues and they did not!Smile

September 2009

Seven months after my last lab tests and I have improved/lower scores in every area! My M-Spike has dropped from 3.4 to 3.1, My enemia (gamma globulin) went up to 12.8  -- 13 is normal, so I am getting there. The oncologist continues to be pleased with my progress--or lack of it, cancer-wise. My next appoinrment is in six moths and at that time I will be getting another bone survey. So far I have no bone damage and no symptoms except for the presence of the cancer cells/plasma cells.

I recently heard a woman who also has multiple myeloma. She has gone the same route I have in rejecting the standard medical treatment and instead going vegan,  juicing and exercise. She has the same results I am having: no symptoms but the presence of cancer cells. Her oncologist says her MM is "on-hold" for now.

I read a letter on the Hallalujah Acreas website (hacreas.com). The woman suffered for seventeen years with MS. Walked with a cane; would fall down at times and her husband would have to come back from work to help her up. She was in pain much of the time and very weak. She shifted to the vegan/hallaluja acreas lifestyle and in less that 60 days ALL her symptoms disappeared! No cane, no pain and she is now hiking and climbing.

My story and the way I am dealing with my multiple myeloma on this site is for informational purposes only and it is not meant to substitute for the advice provided by your physician or other medical professional. Even though I have chosen this path to combat my cancer, I continue to see my oncologist and primary health physician on a quarterly basis and regularly have lab work to check on my progress--or lack of progress.
